Project Overview: The Pier G Berths G230-G236 Terminal Redevelopment project involves comprehensive marine terminal development, including preliminary design for wharfs, buildings, vaults, and other structures. The project is part of a multi-phase redevelopment program aimed at enhancing the terminal's infrastructure and operational capacity.

Summary: IDC is a key member of the Program Management team, providing master planning, architectural and engineering design, and environmental services for Phases II, III, and IV of the project. The redevelopment includes significant elements such as a 30-acre landfill with an 800-foot long concrete, pile-supported wharf, a 3-acre landfill with a 600-foot long wharf extension, a temporary berth, container yard, terminal gate facilities, and new buildings for gate operations and truck driver check-in. Additional upgrades include rail yard renovations, redevelopment of a 300-acre backland, terminal electrification, and shore side power infrastructure for ships. The project also involves environmental remediation and compliance with the Port of Long Beach Green Port Policy and San Pedro Bay Clean Air Action Plan.
