Project Overview: The California High-Speed Rail project aims to connect the state's mega-regions, fostering economic development, creating jobs, preserving protected lands, and contributing to a cleaner environment. The Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3) is a critical segment of the high-speed rail program, encompassing a 65-mile stretch from East American Avenue in Fresno to one mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line. The CP 2-3 scope includes constructing approximately 36 grade separations, such as viaducts, underpasses, and overpasses.
Summary: As the Independent Checking Engineer (ICE) sub-consultant to Arcadis, IDC ensures compliance with technical and contract requirements, including cost management, for CP 2-3. IDC conducts independent verification and validation (IV&V) of design and construction submittals, ensuring adherence to the Design-Build Contract requirements.
