Project Overview: The La Cadena Drive Bridge Replacement project involves replacing the existing four-lane bridge over the Santa Ana River with a new six-lane bridge. Summary: IDC, serving as a sub-consultant to Jacobs, is responsible for PA/ED, PS&E, and final design. The project features include a hydraulic-friendly and cost-effective bridge design, the replacement of the current structure with a four-span bridge, and the implementation of two-phase construction to maintain traffic flow. Wendy Li, P.E., acts as the Project Manager, while Xiaoyun Wu, Ph.D., P.E., serves as the Engineer of Record. IDC's role also includes assisting the City of Colton with programming change requests, scope confirmation, and overall funding strategy, as well as coordinating with local agencies and stakeholders.
